NOTE 01
Reference image, storyboard or first frame: which should I upload?
A character asset answers who is in the shot. A storyboard answers how the action is framed. A first frame defines the intended opening still for a supported generation path. The spatial board records positions and camera relationships. Uploading one image does not create or replace those other records.
For an accepted external image, use Upload final in the character, scene or prop asset editor. For shot composition, upload one image in that shot's storyboard panel; for an opening image, use its first-frame panel. Export a single frame as PNG or JPEG, up to 4 MB, and check the shot ID, aspect ratio and current image before replacing it. Upload requires a signed-in account with access to the project.
Pencil0's generated black-and-white storyboards use faceless figures to plan framing. Character appearance is supplied separately from the character assets when the video reference plan is built. Which images reach the video model depends on the selected model and shot mode. See the reference-to-shot guide for a concrete preparation and review sequence; a still image alone does not establish video continuity.
